Liz's PhotoLiz Warwick, known and respected as an innovative and strategic thinker in the international sports and event marketing arena for the past 25 years, is the founder of StrategyPlus, a consultancy focused on providing strategic insight, guidance, planning and targeted business results primarily for corporate sports and event marketing management.

Liz comes from a unique vantage point – as she has been in management for a global brand/worldwide sponsor, two sports rightsholders, an international supplier and an international management firm.

Prior to starting her own consulting practice, Liz was the Director of Global Hospitality Programs for The Coca-Cola Company. Her team was part of the Worldwide Sports group within the Integrated Marketing Division. While at Coca-Cola, Liz headed up the group responsible for the design, planning and execution of C-level customer and international consumer hospitality programs associated with Winter and Summer Olympics, World Cup Soccer and World Cup Rugby. She has partnered with internal Marketing and Public Affairs team members to ensure integration of marketing initiatives within the event space.

Prior to her work with Coca-Cola, Liz was Director of Non-Competition Venues for the Sydney 2000 Olympics – responsible for the design, development and planning of the Sponsor Villages, The Main Press Center, The Main Operations Center and the Accreditations Center for the Games. She led a cross functional team that included Olympic staff, city and government appointees, architects, engineers and multiple vendors.

At the Atlanta 1996 Olympics, Liz was Director of Sponsor Programs and Corporate Hospitality. In this role, Liz, representing the rightsholder, led the management and communications with 10 worldwide sponsors and 18 national partners related to corporate hospitality, ticketing and accommodations. Liz also led the team responsible for the design and build-out of three (3) Sponsor Villages totally over 980,000. square feet.

Liz’s event design and operational planning began as a meeting planner in Washington, DC with the international firm of SmithBucklin. After 9 years, she moved to the supplier side and worked as Executive Producer with Hargrove Inc. (an international event design and production house). While at Hargrove, Liz produced over 200 events for the White House and State Department – which included functions at the U.S. Pavilion in Seville, Spain (Expo ’92).
